Rice for 3 rupees. Is that those people who is said to be below the poverty line? It is really good to hear that government is considerable about the people who are struggling in between life and death. But how long government will be providing the rice and other food products for them for cheaper rates. This may give them a temporary relief for them but when we are thinking about a long term relief the government fails to fulfill their needs by a big margin. What they need is a stable job. Recently there have been a lot of mega projects were announced by both public and private sectors which can provide job opportunities for millions. Some of those have been inaugurated and are shelved by the dirty game of politics. And some are on the edge of being shelved.
It is really good to see a lot of residential, commercial and tourism projects are lined up to boost the infrastructure of the state. At the same time its painful to see those projects which can create millions of job opportunities are being shelved or moving in a slow pace. If the government really want to do something from the bottom of their heart please try to speed up those projects so that they can get a job and a long term relief.
I would like to mention the issues created/raised up by some political parties when Big Bazaar had opened their commercial complex outlet in Trivandrum. But you can see a good number youngsters who were wandering along the streets are working over there to support themselves and their family. And no stationary/retail shops were closed because of this Big Bazaar. But it helped a lot people to earn for their daily needs. As a result now Big Bazaar is going to open their third outlet in Trivandrum itself. And until now no other shops by which some people are earning their living, were closed.
If considerably a small retail complex like Big Bazaar can provide this much job opportunities, think of those projects which can provide millions of jobs those are lined up like, Vizhinjam Deep Water Port and associated factories/companies and a lot more.
Don't you think that these people deserves a better life? These are some of the snaps I get through an email. And it is really painful. Pictures speaks a thousands words.
